I have swine flu

Wish I could, every time I get a shot for the flu I get a lupus flare. my body doesn't like vaccines. I hope you feel better soon.

I'm so sorry that you've gotten the swine flu. I had it back in November and it really was the pits. My whole family had it, I needed 3 rounds of Tamiflu before I was able to kick. If you're not on it, maybe you could discuss this medication with you doctor. I agree with Lynn there nothing worse than being sick on top of already being so sick. I wish you the best and many (((((hugs))))) to you. I'm hoping you'll feel better tomorrow.

I am new to this forum and relatively new to a Lupus diagnosis. I am still trying to understand the in and outs of the disease. I do have one experience to share though, and that is that I had a flare at the same time I had swine flu. I am sorry that you have this unfortunate timing as well. Stay hydrated and take care of yourself. It took me a month and a half to recover from that, but have been well since.
