Hi I am a newbie on this site, I have Lupus Discoid on my scalp and was diagnosed in November last year, but recently I have been falling asleep all the time and i am constantly exhausted, I thought u only got these symptoms with SLE and not discoid, does anyone else have these symtoms.

Hi sue, welcome to the group! I don't have first hand knowledge about it but I would suggest you get tested for other types of lupus. It not uncommon to have over lapping diseases. Than again you are probably on some type of meds so it could be that. But you need to discuss it with your doctor.

Hi Sue and Welcome!!!

My daughter has discoid lupus, but she's having the same issues. I think she may have SLE too. But she does have other health problems that also cause fatigue (Addison's disease).

You should ask your doctor to run some tests to see if anything else is going on (ie, other autoimmune diseases, fibromyalgia, etc) because people with one AI disease have a higher probability of developing others as time goes on.

Welcome to the forum. I agree with the others...if you haven't had more testing you should talk to your doctor. I hope you feel better soon and get the answers to your new symptoms. Please keep us updated and take care.
