More abnormal lab results today.

Had a urinalysis and comprehensive metabolic panel drawn today.

My urine came back with a trace of protein. 1-2 wbc's, 1-2 epithelial cells and small amount of mucus.

My CMP showed my sodium was a little low 133, my AST was 53 and ALT 111 both were elevated.

Add that to my positive rheumatoid antibody, positive ana, and anti dna ds of 189.

MY PCP got me an appointment with another rheumatologist. I got an appoinment for May 26 and I am on the cancellation list at all 3. They want me to go to which ever one can get me in first then cancel the other appointments.

On a positive note: I have felt more like my old self yesterday evening and today. I even pushed mowed my lawn this evening. Mowing is a stress reliever for me.

Your urine results sound like you have a UTI or something along those lines. Especially with the mucas and epithelial cells. A few months ago while I was doing the Cytoxan treatments, I was getting lab work done every 2 weeks and at least once a month, I had a UTI or kidney infection and didnt really even know it, no pain at all but my blood work showed it. They would put me on a antibiotic and it would be gone by the next blood work!

With your AST/ALT...did the at least lower your Voltaren until you can see one of the rhuemys?

I am glad you got to mow the lawn...that is one thing I really miss and i LOVED to do! It was a stress reliever for me too and then the smell of fresh cut grass :)!!!!
