Acid Reflux

Sometimes they give us meds and forget to tell us they shouldn't be taken at the same time -- some meds don't go well with milk -- a LOT of us take an antacid of some sort with our meds -- for me the Dr said OTC Prilosec.

I used to go through 2 big bottles of rolaids a month, take zantac, purple pill, protonix and prilosec. (They just kept adding more and more cuz of how bad it was)

Then I took a dare on a friend... cold turkied all of them. And drank 2oz of Aloevera juice every day. (boy it tasted nasty). But a month later, I had no issues with my acid reflux.

I now go through a small roll of rolaids every 4 months... and that is only when I over do it (like last night LOL, and I payed for it :( Note to self, don't go eating tons of tomatoes, fruits and veggies at one time) But last night was my first time actually vomiting from it in over two years. And it was also my first bad attack since I did the aloevera juice 4 years ago. From what I understand, the aloevera juice is not only acid reducer but also a promoter of health and healing. So basically, its been mending my asophagus (sp?)

Please note, I did my dare under doctor evaluation. Some doctors will yay or nay it... (the nayer's just believe that one shouldnt injust aloevera juice, but it is ok).
