Welcome to our forum Avrilsch. Rheumatologists are the docs who treat lupus, so I hope you're seeing one. Don't worry about
seeing your doc so often. I did too at first. You simply don't know what to expect, treatment, etc. After a couple of years (yes, years) you become good at knowing when to treat yourself and when to see the doc. I hope your doc gives you some good pain meds. There are lots of prescript
ion drugs that are non-narcotic and some good over the counter (I take Arthristis Tylenol). Your pain sounds just awful and you sure need something that helps.
Many of us own The Lupus Book by Daniel Wallace. Lots of great info. You can find it on Amazon. Take care Sweetie and let us know how you're doing. Love, Butterflake
