Bone pain?

Has anyone had what feels to be bone pain rather than muscle or joint pain?  I'm having a very painful aching in my right arm the last 4 days or so.  Not in the joints, but along bones.  Not sure what to make of this.

Oh, just wait a day or two and it'll change. At least that's what seems to be happening to me lately.

On a more serious note -- I have had that sometimes in the long bones of my lower leg -- it seems to go away on it's own. But if it continues over 3-4 days I'd be certain to ask the rheumy about it and make sure your labs include checking calcium & iron.

Ginny mine hurt all the time. Because I suffer from edemia the doctor is always checking my tissues especially in my legs from my knees to my ankles. They are very sensitive to pressure put on them. I hope yours goes away. There were times I thought I had bone cancer or something but maybe it's osteo?

Hi Ginny, I attribute bone pain to my fibromyalgia. The pain feels like it is deep
bone crushing pain. I've been on Savella a year now for it and it has made the
pain less intense...more tolerable :)  Hope your pain is relieved soon!

Robin, I've been wondering if it's my Fibro as well.... I have such a hard time distinguishing between it and Lupus.  Carol, the bone cancer thing went through my head too. LOL. Unlikely, but still crossed my mind! Lynn, I had all my nutrients, etc, checked a few months ago and I'm good in that area.  I think a call into my rheumy is a good idea.

Ginny, have you had your Vit D level checked recently? I agree with Lynn about the Iron getting checked as well!!!

Blood tests loose their meaning within a couple of weeks, esp. if new symptoms arrive they should be rechecked. Remember, in the hospital you'd get checked practically every day!

Just tell your dr what the symptom is and they'll know what to check -- I just happened to think of a couple I thought might be related, I'm sure the whole panel probably has to be run.

My toes and fingers, sometimes seems like the bones hurt. It is different than my the pain in my arms and legs' muscles. I'm yet to see a specialist but that coming soon. It is amazing how one little toe pain can suddenly make you hit your knees out of nowhere.
