Hello, I was recently diagnosed with Lupus and Ra 3 weeks ago. I just start taking steriods about 3 weeks ago and the Hydroxychlor a week ago and I am not feeling too well dont know if its the meds or a Lupus flare, or both. I have felt feverish and am having lower back pain, body hurts, extreamly fatigued, nausa, weak and dizzy. I felt fine on wed. it hit me thursday and feel even worse today. could I be feeling side effects of the meds already?

Hi Kat,

The meds I believe should be helping you.  I have experienced lower back pain in the passed.  With the steriods I experienced being hungry all the time, night sweats and not being able to sleep.

If your feeling worse maybe you should contact your doctor. Maybe they need to adjust the dosage to your steriods.

Thanks for replying I will have to call my Doctor because I am feeling pretty bad. about a week ago I was experiencing being hungry all the time but now that has passed and now I am not hungry at all, I have to make myself eat just because I know I need the nutrition. Thanks again!
