need some advice please new to this condition have dicoid wait till november go see demitoligest.

has anyone ever had hearing trouble with lupus due have a hearining test in october went other year come back again i know sounds strange.

had a seizure last year as well. need advice as im in the worst job possible care assistant elderly you can imagine how ill they can be?.

i havent told them yet till i habeen hospital in november.

got 2 very young kids. confussed

was sick last week think it was a school tummybug eldest girl started 1st year at school. dont now if its that or my lupus?

Hi Sweetie. I'm sorry to hear you have discoid lupus. It sure sounds like you have something else (including discoid) with your seizure and being in the hospital. It sounds like you should see a rheumatologist.  Rheumatologists are the docs that treat systemic lupus which many of us on the forum have. At the top of our forum is a post called "Resources." Read thru some of the info/links and see if any of it sounds like what you have. Welcome to our forum! Love, Butterflake

Oh hi and welcome. It definately sounds like you have something else. Discoid Lupus deals with skin issues hence u having ot see the dermatologist. But being hospitalized as well as having seizures with this disease sounds inconsistent.

You really should see a Rheumy or Another doctor even.

siezures is one of the signs of systematic lupus but not discoid as far as I know.

I have discoid and systemic and it also sounds to me like you really should see a rheumatologist . There is probably more going on than just discoid.
