Hi! I dont have a suggestion for you on a doctor. Just wanted to say I know what its like not having insurance and then having a chronic condition such as lupus. My first visit to the rheumatologist cost 800 dollars because of the labs that are needed in the beginning. Then I had to see a cardiologist, opthamologist, family doctor, and a ent. I have doctor appointments all the time. You can get some help by applying for patient assistance for many of your meds. Also my family doctor is on a sliding scale fee and my rheumatologist will let me get my labs between visits through their office and that saves me hundreds. Check and see if there is something like that in your area. I hope all the best to you and just take it a day at a time.
