abdominal pain and weird rash...what is yours like?

I dono if it is related to my lupus or if it could be from something else. I have lower abdominal pain  and this rash that lasted a few days but it looked like someone took a red pen or marker and made dots all over my upper thighs and groin area. does that sound like lupus symptoms? My gp doctor is calling my rhoummy to try and get him to see me asap

I get abdominal pain but have never had a rash like that before. My rheumy said the abdominal pain is "just" peritonitis, the lupus (well, I don't have a true diagnosis, but the disease anyway) is attacking the lining of my abdomen (peritoneum) and causing inflammation and pain.

Hi!
Take pictures immediately, in good lighte, go outside if you have to,. Maybe you could even email them to specialist and beg for a moment of his/her time to look at them. If you call the office and ask to speak to the nurse in charge and ask for an email address to save them booking an emergency/or squeeze in appt.,
you have a pretty good chance he/she will be happy to do you a special favor. Nurses are especially like that :-)

I did take pictures when I first saw it and took it to my GP doctor. He said that he thought the rash was a lupus rash but I have had lupus for a very long time and I have never had a rash like that before...I typically got hives. My Rhoummy said that he would see me in two weeks...Its real frustrating but he is the best Rhoummy in town so I guess I got lucky with that appt.

I have a butterfly rash that gets blood red after I shower, become stressed or sleep poorly. It gets faint throughout the day, but never goes away. It never stays red hot for more than a few hours though. It doesn't seem like regular flushing, Sometimes little red bumps appear on my cheeks. Does anyone have a malar rash that behaves this way? I also get blotchy redness around my knees and up my thighs.

I cant tell ya because I have never really had the butterfly rash...im real weird I never get typical symptoms of anything I have. My cheeks get bright red after I wash my face and it kinda looks like that but I blame it on acne sice its not always like that
