A new Lupus med!

I just saw on the news that the FDA has approved a new medication for Lupus that may help as many as 35% of lupus sufferers. It's the first new med (according to the news article) for treating Lupus in 56 years! Hope it helps some of you.

(I know I don't belong here but it was so neat to see something positive in the news about Lupus that I had to share!)

yeah my doctor just called and said on monday they are going to do some more research and then I should be hopefully start on this new med.. my disease just wont calm down... does anyone know about it or have used it yet?

I've been on Humira (adalimumab) for a couple years now, it's in the same family as the new med. It helped me a lot at first and then seemed to lose its effect and now I can't see any difference.
