Is it my lupus?

Diseases: Lupus, Rheumatoid, Fibromyalgia, Celiacs, Raynaud's, Sweet's Syndrome, Anemic and a few others I've forgotten:P

Problems arose two months ago. I had strep, once again. I had swollen glands that didn't go down after a round of antibiotics. Doctor sent me for an ultrasound of the neck. I have 3 swollen glands in neck, largest being 5 cm. They have not shrunk at all, and it's now been 3 weeks since that scan. She ordered another one in two weeks. My hemoglobin is dropping (83, not sure how it works? Supposed to be 120?) even though I've been taking my iron and sticking to a gluten-free diet. I've also started having bowel movements with bright red blood mixed in with the stool. I went to the doctor, she told me to get the er. I went, and doctor said there was definately quite a bit of blood during rectal exam. I got a referral to the gastro doc here, but don't get to see (consultation) him until Oct, due to the shortages of doctors in our city.
Has anyone else had these problems, or am I being paranoid?

I had bright red in my stool recently, and went to the dr. actually emergency room. the er doc said if you are not losing like 2-3 pads full you are ok.but he didn't say for how many days. if that helps... i had not lost as much as i did the time i went in so any how... i went on stool softeners and eventually scheduled with GI I had a few poylps removed i had just an irritated gi track from who knows what i had an endoschopy as well ... because i was spitting up a ton of orangy bile stuff. so he increased my tummy meds and i ate a plain diet and things calmed down.

Sorry you are having trouble. but bright red is much better that dark red. it means more irritated, old is more infected.. i have a friend with crohns so we have a ton of BM conversations.

did you tell the GI dr. of your AI condition when making the appt. you could be put more as a priority as a precaution to be safe.
