Hi, I am new here. Some background on me is, I started having autoimmune symptoms over 10 years ago, in early 20's. The first issues I had were low grade fevers, round discoid rashes on my forearms along with sudden drastic hairloss. Like, half my hair within maybe 3 months. I had no insurance at that time, so no Dr or dx...over time things got worse and while I haven't had the rashes since that one time, I am dx with sjogrens now and it isn't really under control too well with plaquenil & prednisone. I have joint pain and inflammation, severe parotid gland pain, fevers, body aches, eye issues, yadda yadda. I also have livedo reticularis and lately that welts up on my legs in the sun. Sun exposure leaves me exhausted for days... So I know I have sjogrens, but I have always felt that lupus is lurking in there somewhere due to the symptoms I had early on. So anyway, for the past month or so I have had a painless, flat, perfectly circular mark on the back of my throat. The border of it is dark red and the interior a lighter color. It's about pinky tip size, maybe bigger and seems to be within the skin rather than on top if that makes sense. If I knew how to put a picture on here I would, I took one to show the rheum in case it's gone before I see him in 3 weeks, although it doesn't look like it's going anywhere! Does this sound like it could be lupus related to anyone? Any input is appreciated, thanks!
