I met with my Dr. today, who has predicted, was hesitant to diagnose me with anything based on my 1:40 ANA "weak" positive. I had posted here before that my SED was 30 and CRP was 1.8 I believe so both raised, along with a slightly high BUN/Creatinine level. He is sending me to a very good rheumatologist though for the more detailed antibody tests.
Oh, he didn't think the "speckled" pattern meant much as an indicator....w/my symptoms and other bloodwork, I think it does.
After ten years of this...I am desperate for a diagnosis and a plan of action. My fatigue and aches/pains are worse and this year I have developed Raynaud's andangular chelitis on my mouth that won't go away. I have done so much research and these symptoms paired with my bloodwork point to autoimmune disorder to me. I guess he wants to check the ANA over time to see if it keeps creeping up. So in the meantime I guess I continue to struggle to get to work , waste my weekends napping, and teach my husband to cook so I can rest.
I am just so upset with all this. I haven't felt "good" a day in my life since I was 17. I feel like I'm doing all I can with research, bloodwork, and Dr visits but still nothing changes :(
Thanks for letting me vent. No one understands how frustrating this is in my "real life".
Julie
