Low Blood Pressure And Lupus?

I have noticed lately that I have been suffering from low blood pressure. It seems that every single Dr Appt I have been to for the past year I have had low blood pressure. I just went to the Gyno for the first time yesterday (horrible expierence, Doc didnt explain anything to me and then decided to do a pelvic exam without even warning me or telling me they were going to do one then complained when I tensed up) and it was 90/54.

I was wondering if any of you guys/gals suffer from low blood pressure also? Sometimes I feel light headed and dizzy I wonder if its from that. I am going to have to bring this to my Rhuemy's attention next visit.

I suffer from low blood pressure when I stand up...oftentimes I feel very dizzy and faint and have to hold onto something to steady myself. I've mentioned it to my rheumy and he said it wasn't lupus related. Since he was no help, I brought it up to my naturopath who recommended I put pink salt in my water. I do about a teaspoon in large glass in the morning and it has helped a lot. Good luck!

Mine has been a little lower that usual as well, but I was thinking it was the Plaquenil.

What meds are you on?  Some can lower your BP.  Did you have thyroid tests?  Taking a homeopathic remedy is not wise.  Find out what is causing your low BP and don't complicate the situation.

What if her doctor can't find what is causing the low BP...I'm not saying to run out and ignore your doctor's orders, but in my case, multiple doctors brushed it off. Do your own research and make the best choice for you.
