Yesterday along with getting fired we had Field Day. From 8:20am to 9:30am then 10:15am-11:30am we were outside.

It was Cloudy and raining most of the time. I still had my sunscreen, sunshirt, sun hat and sunbrella for protection.

This morning I woke up with my face, neck, and chest covered in red spots and small bumps. My face is so tender to the touch.

Any tips on soothing my face?

I like oatmeal salves or lotions (non-fragrant and hypoallergenic) that have oatmeal as their base. Do these itch???

Aloe Vera Gel works wonders also. If you aren't allergic to the aloe vera.

I use aloe vera gel or diprobase which you can ask the pharmacist for - it's quite a thick cream but really helps when the skin is sore or itchy. Hope it's getting better.

Once in awhile they itch, but mostly feel hot.
The main thing is I look like I have the measles and I can't stand the lightest of touches.
A soft washcloth feels like steel wool being rubbed across my face.

Ditto the Aloe Vera. I have actually used the plant itself and it works wonders. I have at least ten Aloe Vera plants spread between the greenhouse, the garden and my front porch. I just break off a piece, squeeze the liquid out and gently work it into the area that is bothering me. I find it really soothing.
