So, this week, my rheumatologist told me he thinks I have some sort of early connective tissue disease, called it UCTD, and I'm starting hydroxychloroquine on Monday.
Today, I noticed a weird feeling when I was brushing my teeth, and I looked in my mouth and discovered two good-sized ulcers in my mouth. What's weird is that they are completely painless. Has anyone experienced this? Is this likely connected to my UCTD and something I should tell the rheumatologist about? They don't hurt, so they don't bother me, but I don't want my mouth to rot away or something horrid like that.
Experiences? Will these just go away, or is it something you have to treat?
