It is probably the lupus. Lupus can easily affect hormones, which then in turn really mess with our heating/cooling systems. And Lupus is easily aggravated by heat, sun, and stress.
I sweat at about 4:30 pm, even if inside a room cooled to 64 degrees. No clue why it's so regular, it just is. Also at other random times of night and/or day. I don't call it a flare, as it's over as quickly as it comes.
Do remember to mention to your doctor, as every little clue helps in getting your particular presentation of lupus under control.
