Hi everyone it's been forever

I just had you all on my mind. I know most of you have no clue who I am I can't remember the last time I posted. I have a question about klonopin. I told my doctor I wanted to get  off the xanax so i have tapered down and she now has me on klonpin starting today. 1mg x3. it seems like a lot to me. I have an appt with her tomorrow but I wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on it. truth be told i'd like to get down to no anaxiety meds and maybe 5mg hydrocodone. It seems to me that the drugs are making my breathing even worse I I would prefer to not take it. but some times it's hard not to. I have had a rough summer I was in the hspital with what they thought was my scleroderma in my kidneys. but the hep doc can't find signs of it. My sodium level had crashed and i was rough but seem to be better now. I am going to be moving back to arizona soon and starting with barrows institute. I hope they will be a better fit then all the doctors around here who have me going crazy with their ideas on what to do for me. Anyway yes it's diffinently systemic sclerosis sine scleroderma. but anyway back to the klonopin. anyone got anything to offer? thanks

Hey Mary Ann, actually I'll be in tempe. so that's even closer. I know a few A/I's in phoenix. it's gonna be weird since there is no one out here. Yes klonopin is just a stop off getting off of xanax. which is even harder to stop taking then klonopin. I've tried. and yes I wound up in the hos[ital. benzos are something you just can't cold turkey from. It's so frustrating. Like we don't have enough problems. I would love to catch up. I've been on facebook alot but lately it seems like the newes is all bad and I feel over whelmed by it. well gotta finished getting ready for the doctor. I feel like a zombie but still can't sleep. It is good to hear from you though I am sorry you are having such a rough time. I can't help with the med question as I have never taken it, but I hope your move goes smoothly and the doctors are able to help you with some of these issues.

Hi Carol! It's great to hear from you. My shrink doesn't like to prescribe xanax so I've been on Klonopin off and on for years. I'm prescribed 1 mg twice a day, but I currently only take it as needed which my shrink likes even better. I take soooo many drugs.

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been so sick. You're not alone though. Last year I was in a coma for 2 months with pneumonia and they called my BF twice telling him to rush to the hosp cause I wasn't going to make it thru the night. This year I was in ICU with pneumonia again and also in ICU with sepsis (bacteria growing in my blood). But we keep fighting don't we!

You know I lived in Safford/Thatcher AZ for 2 years, but had to move for my job. I loved AZ so much I bought land there, but my BF isn't too keen on retiring there. I also love Tucson and Superstition Mt/Salt River. I actually thought you'd be back there by now. I hope you get there soon. Lots of love Dear. It's so good to hear from you. Love, Donna
