So today i woke with an eye that kept watery i wiped it and it seemed to carry on is there a tear in my eye causing it to water or something else?

It could be dry eyes going on or and allergy.
Our eyes will water if dry in the process of trying to mosturize it. Try some thick gel eye drops.

Hi :-)I am sorry to hear tou are having these issues with your eye. I have the same exact thing happen all the time. Mine is caused by my Sjogren's Syndrome. usually it causes dry eyes, but sometimes it causes over production of tears due to the disease attacking the moisture making glands in the body. I wouldn't be too concerned about it, but definitely talk to your Rheumatologist or doc about it... I hope it subsides for you!! I know how annoying it can be. Also, not knowing if it's lupus or sjogrens or something else that may be causing it. just be sure not to rub the eye too much. it'll irritate the tear ducts more. Hope you get relief asap!!!!

Its an all of a sudden thing really but as you said hopefully it will die down after a few days Sjogrens Syndrome does cause dryu eyes yes what other symptoms may it cause?

Today it seems to have dissapeared which is a good sign i no my body doesnt have sjogrens syndrome i do get dry mouth but have always had that really but thanks for the help
