Yes...I have been to the naturopath. After years and years, more than 30...of watching my family and allopathic medicine do the lupus "bounce" strategy, I decided that my health was in my hands. I have been aware of the symptoms of lupus flaring and receding in my body for 40 years. Learning all I could on how to stay healthy and what path to take when my body responded negatively to "stuff", has been ongoing! For me it is always stress that triggers a flare. Without writing a book here, I am proficient in nutrition, homeopathic, essential oils herbs, acupressure and the most common "fall back on" medications. I have tried Benadryl and Allegra, cortisone cream, every anti itch out there...as well as many herbs and oils. I know it's an stress related flare, because it goes away when I go up in the wilderness with my horse....almost immediately! At times i have had some success with controlling it enough to not scream, at others it's out of control. It's been going on non-stop for 2 months now...I don't want to resort to cortisone, tho I know that will work...so I had just hoped somebody had some experience that would help....also there was a post recently about it being worse at 4 pm...I am experiencing that also. In Chinese medicine 4pm is the time of bladder. Bladder infections typically involve damp heat in the bladder...I shall explore this more!
