We purchased an iComfort memory foam king size bed, hubby found it was to soft for him. He really didn't decide this until we had the bed for 6 months.
Serta allowed us to exchange it for a different series mattress. We spent $2,700.00 on the iComfort. So we went with the closest in price, I have to say this mattress is to hard for me. I ended up purchasing a memory foam topper in twin XL to put under me. It's made a huge difference so far.
We did go to the sleep number store and if we hadn't already spent what we had, we would have bought one. Our plan is to wait a few years and then get one. I really need a split king bed that is on the adjustable base where I can raise my head of the bed or my feet. The hard part is the base for that option is in the $3,000's and then the bed that we want is neary $3,000. So, I'm looking at spending over $6,000 for a bed.
I really need to be able to raise my head though. My cardiologist feels between my chronic pericarditis and pleurisy I need it. With me being on oxygen 24/7 I still am unable to lay flat in bed. He even offered to get a hospital bed put in our home or me. I'm just not ready to be in that type of bed yet.
Good luck with your shopping, hope it doesn't wear you out to bad.
Hugs,
Barbara
