Hi Jamie2012. Loss of balance was one of my first lupus symptoms some 10 years ago and I still have it. I use a cane outside, but not in the house and I fall once about
every two months. I can't even count the times I almost fall. I've always had neurological symptoms and have had complete neurology work-ups with the same conclusion: it's lupus. I think you should see a neurologist if it continues.
Tips: Ensure rugs are secured (taped down)
Anytime you go into even a slightly dark room, turn on a light especially getting out of bed at night
Always be aware of where your pets are
Do not turn suddenly
Be very cautious if you wear loose clothing around your legs
That's all I can think of, so basically be very careful
