So I was looking up symptoms of lupus and u found this extremely interesting! I read online that some people with lupus have Livedo reticularis. Now I was in udder shock because I just discovered I have Livedo reticularis my mother has always made fun of me halfhearted at the doctors when I was little because if get these purple lacy like pattern all over my legs and arms and hands only to read and see a picture of this condition only to now realize I have it! So I thought I'd share this because you to might find that you have this condition to I think it's definitely something to bring up to your doctor! Haha ok end of rant.

Welcome to our forum Dianax3. I know what livedo reticularis is, but I sure lots of folks on the forum don't know. Thank you so much for sharing. I know each of these pieces of info help others! Love, Butterflake

I have it too and for years thought my skin was just really translucent and in need of a tan lol!! My rheumy told me what it was and I was like "ohhhhhhh!" she said it's generally a benign condition and just another of these lovely if not mysterious rashes of connective tissue disease. The cold will bring it out more apparently. I have raynauds as well and a severe allergy to cold temperatures. I wonder if they are all somehow connected since they are triggered by cold.

That is very interesting acquiesce hehe my mom use to make fun me saying I had skin like a "white girl" lol whatever that means but lol I wish I had a tan lol I'm paler then pale in this winter. That makes a lot of sense I'm sure they probably all do connect and aww poor thing make sure you bundle up in this cold weather! So you think that is something to bring up to a doctor is it not necessary?

Yes, you should bring it up to your doctor, preferably your rheumatologist if you have one. Take a picture of it when you have it in case it isn't there when you go to your appointment. :)
