Stools with Blood

If it's bright red it's probably hemorrhoids. If it's dark or tarry color then it's internal bleeding.
Also if you're bleeding very heavy you may need to get it cauterized.

How is the bleeding today? Is it better or worse? It sounds like it's possible that you may have burst a vessel. Are you having anything else with the bleeding. Like feeling dizzy or faint, normally if you are filling up a pad with blood every hour then you need to go to the ER and be looked at.

If you are just basically spotting then waiting until Tomorrow would be fine for me to do. Now, I'm not a Doctor and can't tell you what to do health wise. You might want to put a post on the Crohns forum and ask them about the rectal bleeding. The folks over there are VERY KNOWLEDGE about stools and stuff in them.

Hey! I just wanted to say I went through something similar definitely go to the doctor! I went and he sent me to a go but I found out it was internal hemmoroids. Thought I'd post to help. Yes the bleeding I had was frightening so I understand! Definitely see a doctor nothing to play with but just to ease your mind you probably have hemmoroids which suck but will go away on there own :) I got them pushing in delivery of my daughter I assume.

I hear ya, had to call my rheumy's office last week about my bowel movement color. Yeahhhhh! Fantastic! I was slightly mortified lol.

I'm glad it was just hemmoroids, at least it's not something worse or scary and now you know. I applaud your courage :D
