Hi I am a new member has anyone dealing with neuropathy in both legs ? I have tingling numbness and weakness. Burning pain I m a server ! I'm to the point I can't even work a 5 hr shift . I'm on the couch when I get home it's really ruining my life @ the age of 47 I've also been diagnosed with mild Rhumetoid and fibromyalgia has anyone with similar signs as me would love to know how you deal with it! The neuropathy I've experienced with Lupus has gone away when my rheumy has increased my anti-inflammatory medications. Have you talked with your Dr as to why this is happening and what can be done about it?

I had what sounds to be the same neuropathy in my legs as well. It was an incredible burning pain in both thighs similar to the feeling of running your freezing cold hands under warm water. My doctor prescribed Neurontin for it. It relieved the pain considerably. I hope you get some relief from it soon!

I'm a newbie here, but have plenty of experience with the neuropathy in the legs thing. In my case, it usually is relieved by taking regular doses of B12 and vitamin D. It took me a few years to figure it out, because I have malabsorption issues (thanks to RA, Lupus, IBS, Fibro, etc.) but every time my tests showed my vitamin levels were low, my legs also were numb. Backaches were common, too. When I upped my D and B intake, the neuropathy went away. Just something to consider...
