I'm Flaring Big Time

A quick update on Barb -- ER, etc didn't figure out what was going on, nor did they decide how to proceed with the hemotoma.

So she is home again waiting for them to finish reading the tests and make a recommendation. Meanwhile, she can't lay on her back without excruciating pain, can't put the operated foot on the floor .... a sorry state.

Barbara is going to sleep in the recliner tonight -- I hope she gets some sleep, it helps healing a good bit!

Poor Barbara.....
I hope they find out something soon.

More prayers

Prayers and good thoughts for Barbs.

I talked with Barbara late Friday afternoon. She is resting, more or less comfortably, at home.

Currently they have no plans to change anything until something else happens. Not sure if she has other Dr apts next week or not, but Friday they will take the cast off her ankle to look at the stitches and check for inflammation - treat as needed and put another cast on.

She sounds a bit better than the last time I talked with her. I think hubby helping to figure out a shower was probably helpful.

Barbara and her family have had a hard day, as they lost their kitten, Grady, to old age. He was 18. This is the first time her daughter has had to deal with a close death, so of course Barbara is worried about her. And of course Grady has been Barbs close companion during those long days with hubby at work, daughter at college, etc.....

Tomorrow Barbara will go in and have the ankle cast removed so they can inspect the stitches & make sure everything is healing well.

I believe Nikita will go back to campus for the summer on Monday.

So that's today's update, hope all is well with everyone else!

How sad. I'm sure she will miss Grady a lot. I hope her doctor's visit is good tomorrow.
