For anyone who has been on Plaquenil and stopped taking it, did you experience a flare and how soon after you stopped Plaquenil did the flare start?

When I stopped Plaquenil, I ramped down slowly and did not experience any kind of flare. I think if any symptoms had resumed we would have continued the plaquenil.
I would suggest contacting your rheumy ASAP and resuming the Plaquenil. If you wait too long those flare symptoms might get out of control - if you get back on the Plaquenil quickly maybe you can catch it before things get too bad.
Good luck! And keep us posted.

Hey, weren't you just diagnosed a couple of months ago? Plaquenil doesn't usually take effect until after a couple of months in the first place, so I don't understand stopping so soon.
Is your question really about
Prednisone?
