Lynnwood, I feel for you with the Achilles tendon pain
I somehow seem to have a problem with mine LOL. I hope yours is feeling better tonight than it did this morning when you woke up.
I'll not go into how mine is feeling at the moment. I did sit on my shower chair earlier in the shower and ran hot water over the tendon and managed to stretch it a bit. I know that I'm almost 9 weeks post op and still haven't started PT. I see my surgeon on the 11th, I'm going to bet he's not going to be to happy that I'm not doing PT yet.
Sugaree67, sorry to hear about
the severe hip pain. I have terrible hip pain 24/7, I get steroid shots in the bursa every 3 months for bursitis but the relief is only good for about
15 days and I'm back to the burning sensation in my hips. The best thing that works for me, other than soaking in hot hot water, is getting massages every other week.
I'm prescribed pain medications, but I try not to take the break through pain meds everyday. I do have to take my long acting pain medication daily. I hope that you can get some relief from your hip pain. Be careful not to get your neck sore from sleeping in your desk chair.
Take care both of you and I hope you feel better really soon.
Hugs,
Barbara
