Can you ride a roller coaster if you have lupus?

I do not know much about lupus, and I am thinking about going to Disney with a couple of friends, however I don't want my friend, who has lupus, to feel left out if he can't ride on roller coasters. So we could pick a park that doesn't focus on rides if he can't.
I tried to google it, but I couldn't seem to find any answers.

Edit:
I have asked him and he says that he really likes rides, but if it's not good for him to go on them, I don't want to put him in a sort of position that could potentially endanger him.

Hi,

I just got back from Disneyland and was able to ride whatever rides I wanted to. However, I don't like roller coasters, so I didn't do any of them. Pirates of the Caribbean was as wild as I got. I did have to rent a scooter because I can't walk very long. Even using the scooter, I was exhausted at the end of the day. I did have some pain also from the rides, but it was worth it to me just to be able to go. I love Disneyland.

I agree with Lynnwood, it is up to the individual and what they feel they can do.

Wherever, you decide to go, have fun!!! That is more important.

Zaram - I have serious motion sickness that has to do with my inner ears. I went to Disney World this summer and any rides that were actually moving on a track, I was totally fine. I went on quite a few "roller coasters" including Space Mountain and the Barnstormer. I was fine if the car was actually moving. But the shuttle ride where it's in the moving box with a screen (simulator), I got so sick. I would never do it again.

However, there were some rides I chose to skip and you should know that I was just happy to be there with my family and not being able to go on them for my own health did not make me feel bad. I was happy to watch them have a good time. I can't speak for your friend, but I did feel that way.
