I took it for a month, but had to stop the pill form. It cause a lot of gastric problems for me (stomach pains, explosive D, dizziness).

I think I'm going to be moved to the injections when I see the rheumy next week. I heard it's easier to deal with. However, I have a needle phobia. 0-0

oh no joy! I hope that you'll be okay with the needle.
I hear its bad on your stomach, my friend whos on it vomits for 48 hours after taking it and I have a vomit phobia! Lol if that's such a thing. I'd rather the needle form

Hi Snow,
They started me on the Methotrexate because i keep swinging into flares. IV been on plaquenil since I was diagnosed in the summer but the joint pain and organ involvement have been increasing so this is the next step I guess.

Why do you ask? Should I be concerned?

I took methotrexate for 3 months ending up with deranged liver function test.So now I am under plaquenil and imuran.

They were going to put me on Imuran but decided to do Methotrexate instead I'm unsure why
