Hello! I'm "LoolooLupus," a gal with -you guessed it- Lupus, from Northern California. I'm a journalist and content writer, and today's assignment lead me to want to know two things:
Question 1: I'm writing a list of fun period facts. Midol contains 3 things: acetaminophen (Tylenol,) an antihistamine, and caffeine. But everywhere I look, doctors and people with cramps are saying that caffeine is really bad for you when you're cramping/menstruating.
Why is caffeine in Midol, then? Are there any benefits to taking caffeine on your period?
Question 2: I love caffeine. Does anyone else with Lupus use caffeine to alleviate some symptoms, or does caffeine generally make things worse for you?
Thanks in advance!
Looloo.
