HELP! HELP! HELP! Somebody please......Ok here is my situation. I have EVERY symptom of Lupus but because it does not show up in my blood they say I do not have it. I just need help! The flare ups usually happen around my menstrual cycle and everytime I was. I was pregnant 6 times since the age of 19 and I am now 40. My first child is the only one that survived. During my 3rd pregnancy a big purple rash appeared across my right foot. But when I lost the baby it went away. My hair is constantly falling out. I have a bumpy rash across the back of my neck. My arthritis is extremely painful during flare ups.I have GI problems. I have had every test imaginable. I have seen at least 4 different primary physicians and loads of specialists and still am. My primary physician now says it is all in my head and that "the brain can do amazing things". I think she is NUTS! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT IS GOING ON! ANYONE PLEASE.......I need answers. Thank you

Lupus shares symptoms with a large number of other auto-immune diseases. Unfortunately, Lupus cannot be ruled IN, nor can it be ruled OUT, with a single test, like a blood test.
Lupus and other auto-immune diseases are diagnosed and treated by a rheumatologist. Diagnosis is based on the presence of at least 4 of 11 symptoms. Check out the link Diagnosing Lupus below and if you are still concerned that Lupus might be a problem, visit a rheumatologist for an evaluation.

Lynnwood is correct. Have you seen a rheumatologist?
