I had a major flare with great possibility of lupus attacked my lungs as well as suspected TB recurrence. My rhumty later thinks that it's a major lupus flare, but my lung specialist said it's probably TB even though they found nothing from lab tests except the x-rays with the addition of me having a TB history. I was hospitalized for 2 months.
Anyway, the rhumty specialists put me back on prednisole 50 mg for 3 months then started to tapper down now to 2.5 mg for now. I am now two sizes bigger with extremely round face. I would like to know how long would it take to go back to normal in average.

Probably a couple of months after you get to 2.5 mg - it helps if you drink plenty of water, keep up with some gentle exercise, and try to avoid eating white carbs (potatoes, bread, that kind of thing).
