Parasites causing Lupus-like symptoms

What kind of Dr told you that you "tested negative" for Lupus? You should see a rheumatologist whenever you have a positive ANA, they are the specialists that can investigate and see if the ANA is indicative of anything or not. It is possible to have a positive ANA and be perfectly fine.

Lupus is not diagnosed by a test but by having at least 4 of the 11 diagnostic symptoms.

1. Malar rash: butterfly-shaped rash across cheeks and nose
2. Discoid (skin) rash: raised red patches
3. Photosensitivity: skin rash as result of unusual reaction to sunlight
4. Mouth or nose ulcers: usually painless
5. Arthritis (nonerosive) in two or more joints, along with tenderness, swelling, or effusion. With nonerosive arthritis, the bones around joints don’t get destroyed.
6. Cardio-pulmonary involvement: inflammation of the lining around the heart (pericarditis) and/or lungs (pleuritis)
7. Neurologic disorder: seizures and/or psychosis
8. Renal (kidney) disorder: excessive protein in the urine, or cellular casts in the urine
9. Hematologic (blood) disorder: hemolytic anemia, low white blood cell count, or low platelet count
10. Immunologic disorder: antibodies to double stranded DNA, antibodies to Sm, or antibodies to cardiolipin
11. Antinuclear antibodies (ANA): a positive test in the absence of drugs known to induce it.

Do you have any of these symptoms?

Mixed Connective Tissue Disease is a complete diagnosis, and should be treated. It is similar to Lupus with only slightly different symptoms, and is treated very similarly. Again, this would be handled by a rheumatologist.

Lupus is not caused by parasites or worms. I doubt that anyone here has any experience with the product you are interested in. I can definitively tell you that I would NEVER, under any circumstances, take it or anything like it.

This might be besides the point of your question but: Alot of people with Lupus take a medication called Plaquenil. Plaquenil helps control lupus symptoms and it also happens to be anti-parasite medication. Of course there are many types of parasites tons of which are resistant to chloroquine (the active ingredient in plaquenil) but in a sense you can say we have taken a parasite cleanse. Not the specific one you are mentioning tho.

I appreciate everyone's responses to my question. I will try to get another opinion of a Rheumatologist and take it from there. I will ask the doctor about Plaquenil.

I would look into Lyme disease also. It presents differently in different people and often gets misdiagnosed. Check out Lyme disease.org and read about the western blot test. hang in there!

My Ana titer has increased from 320 to 1280. I was tested negative by a doctor for Lupus and was told my symptoms are lupus-like but cannot give me a definite diagnosis other than some form of mixed tissue connective disease. I have multiple health issues in all of my body systems for over 10 years. I also haven't been able to maintain a health weight my entire life. I'm an adult woman under 100 lbs.

However, my question is about The Life Tree Parasite Cleanse in liquid form. I had a medical intuitive reading as a last resort and was told by the reader that my symptoms are caused by parasites/worms and to take The Life Tree Parasite Cleanse in liquid tincture. I've noticed that I do feel tingling sensations of things crawling inside my body.

Can anyone tell me their experience with taking this and/or are these herbs safe to consume? I'm worried about toxicity.

I have to totally agree with Lynnwood with what she's told you and you should be treated straight away by a rheumo plus to much toxicity in the system regarding Lupus or MCTD carries more risks regarding Lyme disease plus herbs don't suite everyones body and I'm one of those plus there can be counter reactions with meds according to what people take.
