Hi Sheryl,
I am a testament to the right mix of meds can really change a persons life. A year ago my wonderful boyfriend practically had to carry me into the water thinking that I could at least do a little bit of swimming. I couldn't -- not even one stroke. Although diagnosed with MCTD, my rhuemie was doing nothing more than pain meds and prilosec. Well, a switch of docs and some aggressive meds (I love my Imuran) and I am able to have an ok life (taking care of my autistic son and keeping my job, the top two on my list).
Ok, I didn't mean to ramble. Just know that there are many of us who have found meds that work. The journey isn't easy but we are here to support you every step of the way.
I see you have sleep apnea. I just did the sleep test thing the other day (ok, night) and haven't got the results yet. When I do, I may start a thread on what people do about it and whether "the machine" works for them. Anything to keep from popping another pill.
Good luck, big hugs,
Stay Strong,
Sue
