LDN therapy low dose naltrexone

I had coffee with a couple of the members of my lupus support group yesterday. While we were talking the one lady in her early 40's said she has been symptom free and not a flare for 27 months. Prior to that she was on leave from work due to pain and fatigue. When she brought the subject up the other lady decided to give her example of how she basically feels like nothing else is wrong with her anymore except she does need to stay clear of all sun still. They both take ldn and have  been doing so for years.  They had never mentioned it earlier in any meeting as they didn't want to give people false hope or have people think they were selling snake oil. I have been doing alot of research on it and talked to my Doctor I am giving it a whirl. Anyone else ever heard of this or tried it? I know it's big on the chron's healing well forum but was not sure about this one.

I've never heard of it either. I would like to know more about it as well.
