Lousey stinkin weather!/but looking forward to monday!

Monday the 28 the home health person comes out and cleans my house and laundry and all the stuff. Do bad I can't get her to keep my doctors appt: for me.

So here's my plan. I get myself a mixed tropical drink with a toothpick umbrella stuck in pinapple and cherries. than I set next to the pool on a hammock, than I shade myself under a huge palm tree while my pool man puts lotion on my back.

So now all I have to do is buy a hammock, a palm tree and grow it (will it grow in a week) ? Start learning how to drink rum without puking. I have to check my meds and not take the ones that say don't take with pineapple. (never could figure that one out). Idon't even have a tooth pick with an umbrella. Do you have to have a pool to have a pool man? Doesn't matter I don't have a pool man anyway.

So I guess I'll put suntan lotion on and meditate. ooooommmmmmmmmm................................................

Oh yeah and just call me paris hilton without a police record.

I just noticed somthing I'm really weird at 6:30 in the morning on my first cup of coffee.

Had a good chuckle when I read your post.  I think I would prefer a Pool BOY as opposed to a pool MAN...as long as he is over 18...  LOL

I'm in Ohio - It's been really cold here too.  Since I was just diagnosed in July - I'm still experiencing all the "firsts".  My joints are screaming...but don't know if it is the lupus, the arthritis or the pred withdrawl.  Guess it doesn't really matter - nothin's going to fix it anyway...  I could wish for the warm weather - but, to be honest - summer coming scares the HECK out of me!  That whole sun thing...

Anyway...thanks again for the chuckle.

I was wrong they aren't coming until tuesday so maybe I'll have time to build a pool lol.

Hippi you are the weird one that gets worse in the heat! but yeah bone chilling cold just plain stinks! I hope your daughter is getting better and you are both getting some sleep!

Hi Carol.

So happy to hear help is on the way next week.  How are you feeling now sweetie?  I hope things are getting better for you and you are feeling better.  12 months of antibiotics - wow that's a lot.  Never heard of anyone doing that before.  Guess the doctor is trying to protect you as a preventative measure so you don't wind up sick again.  Can you send your help up my way when they are done at your house as mine could use a good cleaning and I have avoided going to the grocery store every evening this week after work casue I just can't get the energy up to do it.  I'm now seriously considering starting to ask my family for some help.  I don't want to but am afraid I'm gonna have to.

It's been bone chilling cold here in Missouri as well and I have been in more pain like you.  But, I also have a problem when it is hot as well.  46 year old stuck in a 100 year old body.  Actually, I know a 92 year old that is actually healthier than I am.  Great for her but makes me sad.
