Nose Bleeds?

I haven't had nosebleeds, and I'm not sure that they are one of the main symptoms of lupus, but it's possible it might be related. I remember you posting about your brother before. When does he go see the rheumy? I really hope he sees a good rheumy who will really listen and try to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. Make sure he has every symptoms written down, even the ones that might seem small or unrelated. Every little bit of information will help the doc try to make a diagnosis. You and your brother are in my thoughts.

Yes Hello...I remember you too.  First rheumy told my brother that his swollen ankles were just from the heel spurs.  He obviously didn't want to bother with my brother.  Therefore, my brother went back to the foot dr. and he said that he needs to go get a second opinion and gave him a list of diseases that he wants him to be tested for.  Again, the not knowing is worse than knowing.  When I heard he had a nose bleed last night, I read up on it today and it said it could be a symptom before a flare up.  THe only thing is that my brother's feet really swelled and became painful when because he was watching his daughter who has reflux(4 months old) and had to clean his house because he had a Christening party.  All day Sunday he was in pain with his feet during his daughter's Christening and then that evening got the nosebleed.  I'm just happy to hear from both of you that you never heard of this being a symptom.  THat gives me hope.
