My brother went to his second opinion rheumy appt. today. They took blood for all the various things that it could be. Dr. wants him to get an MRI of his ankle/feet next week adn then the following week he will go back in to discuss his blood work & MRI results. The dr. said that he doesn't think the swelling in the ankles/feet is from the way he walks. Obviously we knew that... Worrying still continues. Have another 2 weeks to wait.. If we even get an answer then. Hope you all are doing well. Thanks for listening. It means a lot.

Just read your post, sorry to here that your brother is bleeding like that. My nose would bleed when the air is dry and I have sores in my nose I use nose drops.Never bleed like that. Hope he gets his anwser soon.

Thanks for the update jdeet . . . Yes! please let us know what he finds out. Some of the blood work can take about 3 weeks. Sorry. Blessings!

At least this rheumy seems to be more thorough and is listening and looking for what is causing your brother's symptoms. Like Rosie said it can take a while for some of the lab work to come back - waiting is hard. You and your brother are in my thoughts.
