Hi Babs:

I'm doing okay considering I'm in the middle of a flare. I saw both my internist and rheumy on Monday. My rheumy was over joyed that he could press on and move my right wrist around. I mentioned to him that I wasn't feeling well at all and he just blew me off. He was happy with the results of the humira on my wrist.

My internist though was more worried about my pleurisy and chest pains that I have on and off. We doubled my prednisone for 1 week and I'll see her again in 2 weeks. She's worried about my state of mind and wants me to see a therapist. She feels that I'm not getting all the help I should be getting at home.

I'm sure I'll be fine, it just may take a few weeks to get me over this flare. Also, I'm taking Tash's death really hard. I spoke with her about 1 1/2 hours before she passed away and that's hard to deal with. I wish that I could have done something more for her. Nikita's birthday was nice and quiet, but the party with all the girls is on Friday and I'm just not up to having 10-15 teenage girls in the house. Hopefully, Bill will handle most things. Nikita has told all the girls that I'm sick but I'm not sure how much that will help.
