I actually found a website...now I'm gonna have to dig for it... (and it might be outdated info) that beans, potatoes, pepers, tomatoes, mushrooms, wheat, red meat, and dairy are not good for lupus. that broccoli, cabbage, almonds, onion, garlic, ginger, celery, rashishes, berries and asparagus(i'm sure i'm missing a few food groups) were good things to eat because they don't trigger you immune system like the other foods...
but geeze, could you immagine eating only those foods? lol
I'm doing the gluten, dairy, red meat, soy free thing. Its helps alot. but the silly part of it all is, those foods they listed on that web site as "trigger foods" make me swell up like there is no tommorow.... they really do aggravate my symtpoms. i am searching for that web site... actually there were several websites i found listing those foods as " bad". I started listing those foods down in that particular "diet for lupus" and found they correlate with the "get rid of candidia" diets ( you know, yeast).
is there a connection with yeast and symptoms?
i wish there was a survival guide for lupus....
oh i can empathize about
the dough nut dreams... except mine are chocolate m&m dreams... i can't find chocolate that is dairy and soy free. or grill cheese sandwiches...with pickels...mmmm.... i write you this as i am eating lettuce, onions and some other healthy crud...when all i want is the pizza on the floor my kids are eating.
