Doctor put me on a new med because the past few days I've been in bed with a heating pad on my chest. She put me on a drug called Inderal. Has anyone ever heard of it? I'm really not crazy about being on another drug. It's beginning to get a tad rediculous. At last count I was up to 25 pills a day. I'm seriously considering getting a second opinion. I love my doctor as far as she takes time to listen to me but I really don't think throwing pills at me is the only thing she can do. I'd just like to get off of some of them.

  Bless your heart! I'm sorry your going through all this torture lately sweetie! I've never heard of that med, sorry not much help there. With all the pills your taking, you don't have much room for food....((Hugs)). It's always good to get another opinion, it can't hurt. I hope you get some much needed relief soon. Carol,

You probably feel you don't have to eat anymore since you're consumung such quantities of pills every day. Are you having angina? I'd hate to think that's so Carol, with everything else you have to deal with. Take care my friend. I think of you often.

Thanks everyone. Yes I have angina. My pulse rate is always high too. It scared me because it usually stays around 90 and shortly after my first dose it dropped to 65. All though 65 is good it does kind of scare me when I take drugs that miss with my heart.

Carol, I wish you didn't have to go on another med, but it sounds like it is bringing your pulse down which is good. You are right about all those meds. My father in law is on a ton of meds for his heart, diabetes, crohns, asthma, and depression and then he has to take meds to counter act the way some meds affect other meds. It just gets to be a big mess. Sadly, some of this doesn't seem like it can be avoided especially since so many of your medical problems are pretty serious. Do your think you could talk to your doc about wanting to try to get off at least a few of your meds? Hang in there. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. Love and hugs

Thanks everyone. Actually Barb called me and said she is on the same medication. She said she didn't have a lot of problems with it. It helped put my mind at ease a little. I know it's a beta blocker and I have heard some scarey things about it. So far so good though.

well I had a busy day and I'm pooped out so I'm gonna stretch out and watch t.v.
