eye infection

Hey I have a question for the lupus folks.  I am usually over in the crohns area because  my daughter has crohn's dx.  I have been having eye infections in both eyes ( worse in my left) since feb. of this year.  Four so far and it has gotten so out of hand that I ended up in urgent care twice.  The eye dr asked if I had a high sed rate or crp and I said yes because I have serum neg. RA.  She said it may not be RA but more likely Lupus.  I am scared to death.  I go to the specialist next Monday and I was wondering if other people have had problems with there eyes from lupus.  I know both RA and Lupus can cause dry eyes and so many of the same symptoms that how will they be able to tell me if it is lupus or RA.  My ANA has been both negative and positive before.  Besides the eyes I have been so fatigued lately.  Well I should say exhausted.  But I am not sleeping well.  I do have fibromyalgia too but I am scared of the lupus.  I have lost most vision in my left eye.  It is like looking through wax paper.   If anyone can guide me and ease my fear please go ahead.

Hi Becky, I don't have any problems with my eyes but just wanted to give you some (((hugs))). I have never heard of lupus affecting the eyes but I have come to realize lupus can wreck havoc on any part of the body. I sure hope the doctors figure things out soon. Please let us know how your appt goes.
