Hey Livn I am pregnant too. You will see from my signature exactly what I am dealing with in addition to that. I can honestly say I had very complicated pregnancies before my lupus was dxed and this time I am in remission. My main complication is water retention causing high blood pressure and contractions that do NOTHING. I am 33 weeks and in the home stretch. My baby is doing great. I have 2 girls who are fine at 13 and 10. I know a lot of sites make pregnancy and lupus sound dismal but the truth is with good doctors, proper management, and control of your disease (remission isn't an absolute necessity but STABLE activity level is) you have a very good chance of having a fairly smooth pregnancy with a good outcome. I cleared all my meds with a reproductive geneticist. They are perfectly fine with very very low chances of problems. This pregnancy has been my easiest and I may complain about the fluids but the truth is I am mostly flabbergasted to be experiencing a semi normal pregnancy. The fluid is actually a very common issue in pregnancy for perfectly healthy women as are the contractions that do nothing. If I recall from your other post you already have had kids. There is a good chance your lupus was already an issue (even if in the early stages) in those pregnancies. I wish you luck and offer the hope that things to not have to be as bad as some sites will make it seem they automatically have to be just because you have lupus. Read THE LUPUS BOOK, it is very helpful in explaining which views on lupus in pregnancy are outdated.
