Ear problems

Hi everybody! It seems like it has been such a long time since I posted. For the time being, I only have access to the internet at work, and I usually get busy and don't have a chance to check in with you guys. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else here has experienced ear problems. When I was younger, I would get swimmer's ear and ear aches a lot, but that's been a long time ago. Recently though, I have been having problems again. The other day, my ear plugged up out of the blue, and hasn't unplugged since. Infact, it seems to be getting worse. I can barely hear out of it right now. Sometimes it feels like it's on the verge of unplugging, but then it doesn't. Not a whole lot of pain with it, just from trying to unplug it I think. I have had a lot of headaches recently. Not sure if the two are connected, just thought I'd throw that out there. Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions or similar problems, please let me know! No, I haven't taken that one. I never really thought about it being med related though. That's interesting. I am on CellCept, Coreg, Diovan, Hydroxychor, and am in the process of tapering off of Prednisone. Anything there sound like a culprit? Thanks again for your response.

Hi DQ, I've been having some weird ear problems too, sometimes my ear pops and it stays that way for a while.  It doesn't hurt, just a weird feeling like when you are going up a higher elevation.   

I wonder if it could be from Sjogrens?  I plan on mentioning it to my rheumy.   It may be worth a call into to your doctor and possibly even an ENT.
