face looks sunburned

i have a question, i always look like i have a sunburn on my face.  i have redness on my cheeks and forehead mainly.  i look like i have white circles around my eyes all the time.  this is a year round thing with me and i'm wondering if its related to lupus?

I have the exact same kind of rash, with the white around my eyes that make me look like I got burned with eyeglasses on. The skin seems to be very sensitive to light as well and since I'm already red, its hard to tell if my face gets sunburned. My lips and around the eyes are sensitive, so I try to keep them covered well. I went to a dermatologist and they gave me a cream to try, and it did improve the condition of my skin on my face a little and made it whiter for a few hours. Dermatologists have lots of good tools now, so if you can afford it and it bothers you, it might be worth doing a search for a dermatologist that deals with vitiligo and other types of treatments and try a consult. The biggest thing the cream did was to help me keep my pores clean, because my skin is also messed up too. He gave me a steroid cream to try on my face too.
