Some tears to be felt, and i have a runny nose.  Have not had one in a very long time.  Plaquenil is all I am taking for Sjogren's, so it must be working.  How does plaquenil treat so many things.  Or maybe it is really just treating all autoimmune diseases. 

WHat ever the case may be, it is working, and I am very grateful for this.

The muscle pain may be fibromyalgia, and plaquenil doesn't treat fibromyalgia does it?  Just in case, taking a break.  Just going to the library exhausted me.  so with my books and my blankets, I am going to immerse myself in novels.  somebody else's problems or thier happiness, even if the characters are fictional.

thank all of you for giving so much good advice.  need to find you doing well to Ginny, and all of you who send messages to the forum when you feel so bad yourselves.

have you asked for a muscle relaxer? It can help a lot with muscle pain. I know I am miserable if I miss mine.

Well, I guess a runny nose is a good thing!! Hehe... That's great! Nothing worse than a dry nose and dry sinuses.  Do you get nose bleeds at all?  I do. 

 

Just to let you know, runny noses, and congested sinuses, runny eyes (goopy when you wake up in the morning) are a HUGE Fibromyalgia symptom.  If you're blowing your nose a lot, but don't have an infection, it could be your Fibro flaring up.  I get this a lot.  I'd love to think that it's the plaquenil too.  Let's hope it's that!  But when you mentioned that your muscle pain is increasing, etc, it made me think your runny nose and teary eyes might be the Fibro. (Bummer). Just keep an eye on how your Fibro is feeling.

 

You know what?  I'm reading a lot of books right now too.  It's such a nice break from life to get immersed with a good book isn't it!  I like the sappy romantic stuff.  It's a great escape.  I'm also doing some spiritual Christian reading.  I feel very grounded right now and close to God.  It's great.  Life is good right now!  I'm feeling so much better post-hysterectomy!

I am so glad to have a runny nose yeah that I probably won't take anything for it.  my body has been so very dry for so long.  yawning I get a little bit of tears in my eyes, and it is so good to have this.  Restasis is also part of the cause I am guessing.  I haven't had real tears in a very very long time.  No lubrication, and it is so hard to see at night when I am driving.  I have ghosts around traffic signs, can't see before I get to a street, and I just do not have the effort to drive at night.

The doctor gave me muscle relaxors when this pain under my rib cage first started a few years ago.  I could not tell any difference taking them.  so I gave them away to other people who could use them.

I do wonder about my fibromyalgia.  I cannot tolerate the touch of my pillow on my back, when I am propped up in bed.

  My oldest daughter was supposed to have this hystorectomy too, but she suffered anaphalactic shock(spelling) while on the operating table.  died for a few minutes.  and now she is too afraid to try to do the surgery again.  She still has the problems, benign tumors inside her uterus, and other symptoms.'

Hopefully she will find herself the courage again to get the surgery done.  She might could have the same response that you did.  Pain is a horrible thing to have to carry around.  It eats away with your stamina.

Hey Judy,

This is what   I do with books, or what I  used to do with books.  It really is a form of escape.  I found this book written by Stephen King in the library, that is not the path one might find in King's novels.  But I can't sit up to read.  i am going to see if I can find a lamp and a table somewhere so that I can fix myself, or prop myself up in a way that will help me to read without pain.  Have to figure out ways to be helpful so that I can read again.

At the moment the pain is gone in my ribs, stomach, and side and back muscles.  Yesterday was the same and it took only a short time of working, to get the pain back.  I think this is probably a flare.  I just never had a flare like this one.  Diarrhea also chose to keep us company yesterday.  Only one day though.  and not even a half of the day, so this is a good thing.

I will look for this author at the library when I go back.
