I just saw my new rheumy today! what a great doctor. he said his goal was to be thorough, kind and attentive! he listened to me for as long as I could keep telling him my symptoms, then he asked specific questions about
what I had told him. (he actually listened)
He could not give me a definite diagnosis for the "flair" I had from May to October. He said it could have been a really nasty virus, but if it happened again to call him day or night. wow.
He did say that my hip pain I have been having for over 5 years is bursitis. he gave me Novocain/cortisone injections in my hips and lower back ordered a new nsaid that will do a better job of the one I have, a sleeping med and
Water Therapy
Now I will see him in a few months to see what symptoms are left to deal with.
after the @#$% *&^$%^ Rheumy I used to go to I about
passed out he is so great.
ooh also, my wonderful hubby bought me a new bed - Simmons Beauty Rest. I love it. it makes a lot of difference in my pain level.
