UPDATE

Hey y'all!  It's been forever since i've been in here.  I really hope you all are doing as good as possible.  I have been hospitlized for the past month with MRSA that was in an abcess next to my dialysis fistula, had two suregeries and then obtained peritonitis!  Of course,  all of this threw me into a major lupus flare.  Now i'm back on the dreaded prednisone!  But I started it yesterday and already i'm feeling better.  I would love to know how you all are doing!  Love and prayers, Judy

I'm so glad to see you're back! Isn't Prednisone the best drug in the world?!  I know it has it's downsides, but still. To start feeling relief after just a day or two really does tell the story about how amazing it is!

 

I'm not familiar with MRSA. What is it?  I'm just so happy to hear you're doing better. 

 

My lupus is still nice and quiet. My liver enzymes are normal and so is everything else! I've been able to taper to 7mg of Prednisone, from 10mg, so I'm losing weight and my moon face is slimming down. But my Fibro is another story altogether. I'm in rough shape with it. Still plugging through it, but it's really hard some days.

Way to go Judy, you just casually say I ya folks. Been in the hospital for a month, MRSA, abscess's, flares! Hey man like no big deal. Geez! I really wish you would let someone know. You have been in hospital a few times lately. Don't you have a cell phone? I know when I'm in hospital I need my bud's checking on me once in awhile. I havn't been around much but I do know how to dial a phone and I do know how to pick on up. The longest I was in the hospital was 11 days then out for 3 than back in for 4. I ready to slit my wrist! LOL.
